The new naturalization law in Turkey
The law related to Turkish nationality, which is subject to application, has been amended according to the Cabinet Resolution dated 11/2/2010 No. 139/2010.
By amending the phrase “according to the request of the Council of Ministers and the Minister” found in Article 20 of the law, with the phrase “according to the request of the President of the Republic.”
And to amend the phrases in item (a) of the same paragraph, so instead of the phrases: “2,000,000 US dollars” “Ministry of Economy” the phrases should be put: “500,000 US dollars or the equivalent of this amount in Turkish lira” “Ministry of Industry and Technologies”.
And amending the phrase in item (b), instead of the phrase “1,000,000 US dollars,” the phrase “250,000 US dollars or the equivalent of this amount in Turkish lira.”
And amending the phrases in clause (c), so instead of the phrase “100” “Ministry of Labor and Social Security” in order, the phrase “50” “Ministry of Labor and Social Security” is placed.
And to amend the phrase in item (ç), so instead of the phrases “3,000,000 US dollars” “Treasury Adviser” the phrases “500,000 US dollars or the equivalent of this amount in Turkish lira” “Ministry of Treasury and Finance” are placed.
And amending item (d) in this way: “Foreign exchange of $500,000 or at least an allowance for this amount, or a real estate investment equivalent to this amount, or a capital investment, provided that this investment is maintained for a period of at least three years, and that is verified by an authority.” capital markets”.
Decision No. 418 regarding the granting of Turkish citizenship
The decision was issued in accordance with Article No. 46 of the Turkish Nationality Law No. 5901 regarding the amendment of the applicable decree within the law mentioned below, related to the granting of Turkish citizenship, and it enters into force immediately.

Naturalization law by purchasing a property under construction in Turkey
Article No. 1- A phrase has been added to item (b) of the second paragraph of the decree related to the implementation of the Turkish Nationality Law, which came into force according to the decision issued by the Council of Ministers on 02/11/2010 No. 139/2010, by adding a phrase after the phrase “which He bought it,” which is the expression “either it is a complete title deed or a floor easement deed,” so that the price of the property is paid in cash with a value of no less than 250 thousand US dollars or the equivalent of this amount in Turkish lira. An addition to the real estate title deed shows that the property cannot be sold or transferred to another party for a period of three years.
Article No. 2- This decree shall enter into force as of the date of its publication.
Article No. 3- The President of the Republic shall implement the provisions of this decree.

Personal identification documents, or foreign passports, should be the basis for proving identity in Tapu transactions, for real persons holding foreign nationalities. Provided that these documents are duly granted to them by the competent authorities in the countries to which they belong.
For citizens of the State of Palestine in particular, identity documents and passports granted to them from other countries (such as a refugee travel document and others) are accepted without the need to present identity documents and passports issued by their home country.
In the event that the Palestinian nationality holder submits a residence permit document issued by the Turkish General Directorate of Immigration, the Turkish ID number for foreigners, TC, if any, must be written in the field of the foreign ID number in the electronic transaction called: TAKBİS (it can be extracted from the e-devlet website and it is a special transaction by land registry and real estate survey). In the event that the Turkish identity number for foreigners (TC) is not available, the passport number or the foreign country’s identity number must be written.
In the event that the document is written in non-Latin characters, the Land Registry Directorate may request a translation of the identity or foreign passport (amended by Approval No. 1058120 dated 06/03/2019).
As for stateless persons (those without citizenship), they will use the Turkish residence card in the place of the aforementioned documents: that is, the place of identity or the place of the passport (according to the amendment made by Resolution No. 1058120 dated 3/6/2019), and a special search and identity survey will be conducted The identity of the Bidun, which is granted to them by the state administration, according to Article 50/2 of the Aliens and International Protection Law No. 6458.
